This boy is such a riot! Hanging out with him means that many hours of laughter and fun. Be it his oh-so-proper-Brit-boy-image (at least he tries very hard to fit this image sometimes), his useless texan country lad image, or his loud and crazy desi image. He plays all his roles very well and provides a whole lot of entertainment in the process. We have had our deep conversations too, talking about life and relationships. I will always remember you Gaurav, and whether you end up in London (I do hope you do) or in Copenhagen, I will visit you if only cos I'll miss your ability to make me laugh the way you do. I hope you get to do all the things you want to and live up to your image of being a complete party boy.

Your saying "I want to move and move fast" made such deep impression in me! You are the person of great ambition, of dynamism, and of parties also, good combination. I wish to see you up there, high on the ladder as you move fast along it in the very soon time to come. Good luck, Gaurav!

I have always had the deepest respect for people who are: a)carefree and light-hearted, b) extremely funny (at their own expense), c)naturally smart, d) self-assured enough to not have to flaunt that they are smart, and e) don't make a big emotional fuss out of everything. Now if only Gaurav came to LKYSPP sooner, and if he had only been FEMALE (which I have to remind myself sometimes he is NOT) - he would've been one of those I'd choose to be around 24/7. Party on, rockstar!

Gaurav is a best example of confusing personality (in a good way:)
He always tell people "I love myself", yet he is not that confident about others' opinions about him sometimes.
He has a party boy image, yet he has a serious, subtle and caring side as well.
He sometimes likes to whine about the "boring life" in Asia, but he is very grateful to find so many cool friends here at the same time.

GT, stop whining, stop worrying, just enjoy yourself as much as possible. I like you "just the way you are" hahaha.

All the best!

Gaauuurav!! Study room 1-2 will miss you after May! And I will too obviously… Now I’m going to be really frank with you. You’re probably the person about whom my opinion has changed the most in this year. Before coming to Singapore I really hardly knew you though we’d spent a year in LSE together. And then the first weeks at LKY when we met up daily for lunch, and trying to find our way around the school I often thought – Why is there no filter between his brain and his mouth? And how does this stuff get into his brain in the first place? But over the months, many more lunch breaks, many nights out and long conversations about life (and love) I guess I’ve gotten to know you a lot better. You do talk rubbish half the time but I know now that that’s just the outside and that you’re really much more sensible than what you like to portray in the beginning! It’s been so much fun having you around, and no matter where you end up in a few months I’m sure we’ll meet up!

He is the only double degree friend whom I know relatively better than others. I still remember while he was telling me what to cram at LSE, he suddenly laughed and spilled coffee on his dress and then we looked for tissue papers; newer able to know why did he laugh. But he helped me a lot to understand the world I am going to interact with at LSE. Thanks for your advice. And I remember the dinner we has to gather, it was fun which I miss a lot and will keep missing. Hope I will see you in London or wherever our ways cross. Wish you best of luck.

It started at Apostrophe -- London --

Was followed by -- Singapore --

GT in few words :
His mind: frameworks, metrics and of course 3 rationales
Him talking about himself: a truly global citizen
Him in Singapore: mister prata, Wine Company, LKY, Evans Lodge, everything within ten square meters
His favorite words: dodgy, heheheh, indeed, xxxxx; xxxxx; xxxxx

Hope it will go on with -- St Tropez -- this summer and LSE graduation.

Stay the same GT, minus only few metrics !
