She lit up my existence in lonely USA, and successfully fulfilled her (not-so secret!) mission of getting me to fall in love with the City. Whoever thought that we would have so much in common? Her intelligence, kindness and wit make her one of my favourite people.. here’s to terrible PAE presentations, epic movies, hot chocolate, awkward trysts with Vietnamese men, complaining about the subway, surviving the dual degree and being there for each other. Mwah!

There isn't a person who has exhibited more kindness than this girl here - she is one of the most beautiful people I know. From the joy of hanging out with her, going shopping (I think between the 2 of us we can fill an entire apartment with our belongings) and drinking by the pool to the pain of saying goodbye on her way to New York - there is a certain level of emotional attachment that one is bound to feel with this girl. Seeing her in Berlin was so refreshing and such a riot - I hope we get to travel the world and meet on many more occasions darling. Stay beautiful. Mwah!

There has always been a magnet between SJ and I. Whether it was her no-nonsense personality, her genuine kindness to people, our shared belief that intellectual aptitude should in no way sacrifice someone's flair for fashion, or our common sentiments on matters of the heart, I have been thankful since day one for finding Sun Joo in LKYSPP. I have always known her smarts and assertiveness will bring her places, and they already have. Thank you for all the ladies nights, shopping sprees, cocktail parties, and plain hang-outs in each other's Meadow Lodge rooms. It's a pity it was a short time we shared. Conquer the world, SJ! It awaits you.

She is the guardian angel. Always on lookout and helping. Cuts out the negative surges, amplifies the positives.

7 years ago, there was a small girl, and she went to every comer of NYC overpoweringly, ate in all the famous restaurants herself. 7 years after, she guides her BF, an Indian girl, a Singaporean and a Chinese boy, tasting various foods in the restaurants in Manhattan where she has been.

Energy security specialist, international diplomat, Korean cultural ambassador, event organiser, fashion connoisseur, clarinetist extraordinaire, gourmet food critic. Sun Joo plays every role down to perfection almost as though that was all she did. Yet she did it all. Likewise, her warmth, care and good sense of humour forged an impression on so many in class, the professors are no exception. Here is to graduation, the end to mid-term trans-Atlantic escapades and the start of new adventures. Where are we going first?

I first got to know Sun Joo when she, James, and I would study at HMK on the weekends in the first half of Semester One. That was before she wised up to what happens when Oz and USA join forces - I soon became the third wheel! Sun Joo is stylish, sophisticated, confident, mature, and sure of herself. I'm often jealous of her poise, like that unforgettable moment when the Dragon pounded up the stairs to demand more time for the OAE. Note to readers: don't try to criticize anything she's said during a presentation - she'll rip you apart on-stage with characteristic ease and leave you feeling dazed. She has earned her 'Dragon' label and I'm impressed. And if you wish to placate her, feed her pancakes generously lathered in maple syrup with a grande green tea latte and some Royce chocolate. Then she'll be grinning from ear to ear.

Her perspective on life is unique and she know how to fulfill her dreams. She wants to change the world, around herself, and she works hard for that. Best wishes...
