This person epitomizes the saying "Silent waters run deep." Living in the same flat with her for two years has allowed me to see beneath her seemingly tough exterior. It was great knowing you, Niumie :) I will miss seeing you in your favorite spot in the apartment every time I walk in. Wishing you all the best! - Row

I knew her from close when I worked with her on the infamous OAE. She speaks with silence more than with words. It is good to have her around and I wish her happiness and contentment in life.

Getting to know Niuma is like eating crab. You have to get past the hard shell to get to the good part. Even though I don't like eating crab, I'm glad I've gotten past Niuma's hard shell. She can be difficult to understand, but once you've gotten to know her better, you'll find what a generous person she is. I would always be grateful for the kindness she's shown me, taking me to the doctor, helping me prepare for my PAE presentations, and for just being a friend for the past two years. I hope my wish to find a rich husband comes true, so that I can have my honeymoon in Maldives and visit her.

Though sometimes get a bit "scared" by someone calling me to company her going to McDonald at 1 or 2 am in the morning. Well, when I look back, I will definitely miss it.
Dear Niumie, it was great knowing you. When you get back, please remember to eat more healthy food and live happily, ya? ^.^ I wish you all the best!!

love,

The BIG CHILL!!! This girl is the most chilled about school work, all she is worried about is getting her next smoke. She is incredibly kind and helpful and if you are having a conversation with her she will give you a 100 percent of her time and insight. We've had quite a few of our midnight coffee sessions at al-ameen and I've enjoyed all of them Niumie. I promise to visit you in the Maldives sometime (when you get me that discount in the wonderful resort). Until then, I wish you great success and a lot of joy.

Hey, BIG CHILL is my word.... I should have patented it. Ok, Miss Flowery Pants with the ‘Flower’ at the right spot. ha ha ha ha ha ha. God, that vision was unbeatable. I really like the notion that you were able to maintain a chilled lifestyle between your studies and your life (especially, back home). I certainly admire that balance in you mate. It was great bumming those ciggys from you and actually smoking them at those illegal dodgy spots at the LKY. It was brilliant knowing you and keep up that composed demeanor. I will one day see you in Male, perhaps on my honey-moon yeah. He he he he he. Cheers.

Niuma is one of the most independent minds I have known. She knew how to chill in the flurry of assignments we lived in...late night talks with her were always special...stay in touch!
