How did the School ever think of housing Chinese, Vietnamese, Polish and Indian in same house? The most intelligent, charming, daring (opposing CCP and LKY dictums) Chinese I have ever met. We had our share of fights over house (and WuXun presentation?), taking over Vietnam, watching people by the pool from our darkened lobby, but still want to learn from you the skill to charm people.

I enjoy the conversations I have with Johnny. He is widely read, and has sophisticated views on a wide range of issues. His ability to ask intelligent questions and give critical comments was once highlighted by Ed (unfortunately Johnny was absent for that class!) Johnny, as you embark on the next stage of your life, I wish you happiness and success!

If your dream of becoming a top lawyer at an American law school does not work out (which I hope it will), I am sure you can still make a career in the Chinese swimming team at the next Olympics! Good luck with everything! It was great getting to know you, I wish we would have had more time to hang out in the second semester as we did in the first…

I still enjoy the times when we had heated debate on politics of China. You are smart, eloquent and sportive. I wish you success in your career path.

I do not know what attracted me to you but i think you have a special charm in your personality, despite a disorderly fashion you conduct yourself sometime. You are a charming and well read and I am happy to know your point of view on various issues. Tanks for introducing to me to PBS, where I learned about China more. To know you is a special pleasure, hope we keep in touch and will compare our views, say from twenty years now. Wish you a happy life and pray that you achieve your dream.

Cui Jian, you are surely one of the smartest, but also most mysterious one in our class (though Charles might beat you somehow in the latter aspect). Sincerely wish you a bright future!

haha, we talked so much and met so often, it is a little bit hard for me to write sth about you here, for I always told you straightly what I was thinking, bad or good (usually the former is more often than the latter: ) While I enjoyed the stay with you, very relaxing, liked the discussion with you, you are a good friend, one of my best friends, I can see many merits in you, intelligent, always trying to be the best in the area you want to, and I do believe you can, sometimes you are like a kid, but you are a good man. I wish you all the best for your career and personnel life; do let us know when you are getting married.
