This girl is a wonderful treasure - she is to most people the poised and composed lady of the class, to me that is 1 percent of what she really is. She loves to kid around and enjoys a regular dose of useless banter. When this girl is hungry, she is such a sight - finishing food right after she buys it, even before she gets home. We have had so many evenings of lazing around in my room, watching useless TV shows, reading fashion mags and her finishing all my chocolate stocks. We've also shared some of the most meaningful conversations I've had, about the world, behaviour patterns and life in general. We are incredibly proud of each other and hope to see each other through our hopes and dreams. Here's to two wonderful futures Row. Mwah!

Rowie's mere presence is a balm and after every conversation with her I feel more at peace. She combines sophistication, collectedness, and sweetness in coherent form, coupled with a hearty helping of genuineness and honesty. Her calm demeanor in the face of adversity is enviable and her commitment to friends is laudable. Rowie knows her priorities and sticks to them, a lesson that more-confused folks should be smart to learn. We took too long to have that coffee about Filipino-US politics and I regret not having spent more time with her.

I always envy Rowie for her poise and composure. She always looks so mature and makes me feel like a kid around her. Not only in appearance, but her personality, as well. Every time I have a problem and I need to discuss it with someone, I know that all I have to do is climb the short flight of stairs to apartment 04-12. The second semester was a trial for me, and knowing that Rowie would always be there to listen to my problems made it so much easier. Thanks Row, for everything.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
six hundred minutes. Times two. How do you measure two years in a life of friends? How about love? :)

I was delighted to find a fellow RENT fan! So, cheers for the love of musicals we share! :)

A perfect combination of internal and external beauty, Rowie is one of the most pleasant people I know. She's incredibly thoughtful, immensely sincere and very simply, lots of fun! I do wish I had gotten to know her better, but hopefully, this is not the end. May good things always happen to you, Ro! Hugs, Shorty.

One couldn’t ask for a better flat mate! When I came, (later than all the others) I was a bit apprehensive about living with 2 people from a totally different world and nothing in common. But at the end of all this, its really surprising to learn all the small things we have in common, and can spend hours on end talking about it.

The most generous and selfless person I have met so far. She’s always there when I have something troubling me. And no matte how trivial it is, she finds the time to listen and give me some constructive feedback. But more importantly I love the silent understanding we have, to know when to butt in and keep away is a truly remarkable thing to find in a friend.

She is my Audrey Hepburn equivalent, who is beautiful both inside and outside. My luck to have her at my existential crises of fashion and relationship is indescribable. She will be the happiest and prettiest bride in December!!

My Filipino Diva!!!! Definitively my hottest, sweetest, and of course the classiest friend in deed. A wonderful package and no wonder, I was so apprehensive in using my vocal chords in front of you. Thanks to that dubious night in November with a bunch of six packs and Nicotine filled ciggys; I finally made myself out of that self-inflicted shell and had the most stimulating conversation of my existence in this city state. Since then, it has been a glorious ride from that awesome Bintan trip to my house warming gift. You will certainly be missed my good lady and I will make it my utmost priority to attend your most joyous moment, i.e. the first day in December. Good luck with everything and you better keep in touch. BTW: CJ rox.. Cheers

Rowena, I still remeber I tasted your chicken soup in the first semester when I came to your apartment:) That's really delicious! I love it. Wish you a good success in your life:)

I truly admire Rowie's maturity and sense of purpose. She has the capacity to cope with a lot and still find something to smile about. Her poise can disarm an army.

It seems so ironic that I only really got to know Rowie after I knew that I was leaving Singapore. Perhaps I should attribute this to the cartel like behaviour of the Block E girls. Or perhaps, the American just refused grant his foreign maid free time to socialise by the pool. It, however, was always a pleasure to visit her, especially bearing a Korean. Hugs.

i should conclude now that rowie is THE AMBASSADOR of friendship and also of the Philippines sooner or later (you've got the right path already, rowie). having been together with her in southeast asia class, together in berlin trip, listening to her presentations, i am always impressed by her calm, convincing, and sharp (political) thoughts resonated by her great communication skills. i salute you.

Her sober demeanor and her ability to keep people together is such a special gift that I found myself admiring her often. She is definitely one among us who will leave her mark on the world. She has the ability to lead without leaving the impression that she is the one in control and the reason is her ability to make you feel that you are the one who are in charge here. She has a charming personality and I wish her a happy life.
