As I can imagine he is still waiting to see a free and democratic Maldives . So much for his passion and I found him more charming with short hair, because he was easy to recognize then. He is a good friend, despite his almost diplomatic demander. But the fun we had together while eating Naan and Biryani, at Al-Ameen, is unforgettable and so do the experience of living with him for about a year. I wish his a democratic Maldives.

The one who used to sit next to me on school bus to the old campus. One of the first non-Chinese friends I've made in Singapore. The one who always has this shiny smile, as shiny as Maldives. There is no one time he didn't stop and talk politely when ever you meet him. Wish you all the best to your "travel company" :)

Azwar is the cool dude in class who has always been popular with the ladies. (i'm sure Sumathi will agree to that) I had the pleasure of working with him for the Caroline data assignment, the OAE and Wuxun's enrichment exercise. All three projects were exciting and memorable in their own unique way. I'm rather envious of him, because I know he'll become a rich businessman someday, and become even more popular with the ladies.

Always drinking warm water, Mr "Teh Tarik" and "Nasi Dagi Merang" is a nice company over dinner at Al Ameen. He is a very caring friend, an energy expert, and a natural stylish model in class. Wish you success and happiness in life:-) Hope someday I'll be able to visit the Maldives, before it sinks!

Azwar is the dark horse. While other people talk alot but don't accomplish anything, he quietly keeps working.

Azwar, my brother. His love for his country is amazing. I will always support you to see Abdul Gayooom down :) Azwar is such a very nice person. Behind his always smiling face and composed character, he treasures smartness and intellectuality which make him even more down-to-earth and he never minds sharing them with anyone. my salute, brother.

I’ve learnt a lot from him, not least about diplomacy and the politics of the islands! :D A good friend, and we shall definitely be in touch!

Postscript: I have NO idea what Ziming means by his comment above!
