Anthony, who is the other Physicist in the class, pipped me at the finish line of an 8km race in October 07, and then beat me to win the Harwin Gold award a few months later. As much as I am currently still sulking in defeat, I know that Anthony is a man of excellence, and that he certainly has a bright future awaiting him :)

There is dangerous about putting two Western 20-something vegetarian/vegans in the same flat. How was the LKYSPP administration to know of the consequences? Life without Anthony's crazy antics, loud music and delicious pancakes would have made Wenbo's watermelon juices difficult to swallow. There are, however, few people as endearing and supportive as Anthony - a true friend and someone that I will always be happy to see and sad to leave. Here is to a lifetime of true friendship. (hugs)

Although we don't talk anymore, still wanted to say Thanks to you for the plant you gifted to me. It started a new hobby for me. Now I have a mini-garden in my room with 10+ plants and your plant stands the tallest.

Best friend, best colleague, critic, cynic, inspiration and intellectual nemesis - my partner in love and the turbulent editorial business ;) His commitment and sincerity leave me in awe, and the sheer volume of information inside that head of his is so daunting! I must confess that my claims to being a “macro” person and not “interested in the details” are only a guise to hide the fact that I just cannot win an argument with this man..
Two years of knowing him leave me parched for more – his work ethic, his life ethics!, his kindness, his sincerity and simply his innate goodness allow me to overlook the height factor he so unfairly wields. He has taught me that there is more to life than economics, to laugh at myself, to pause to smell the flowers, and to live life in a more complete and restful way..
Here’s to a lifetime of filling ice trays and sipping cold coffee on porches.. Cha Cha Cha!

Whenever my life looks mundane or too orderly, he is the one to see. His politically correct (mostly)/incorrect(yet tolerable) jokes, super-detailed description on something very petit or warm shoulder will bring you to new level of appreciation of life. Call him Dr. D and he will buy you lunch.

Antonio,
Although we are from two different parts of the world we do enjoy doing things together: traveling to France and Thailand, going to seminars, cinema, theatres, clubs, parties and most importantly we do enjoy it. Your artistic talent, straightforwardness and sooooooo funny things you say make it fun!
I am happy for discovering the Art in Singapore thanks to you! You are unique, original and a special friend of mine whom I will always remember with smile...

Anthony is the conscience that policymakers need. He asks questions that we suppress, and explores details we neglect. We're constantly free-riding on this man.

Vegan, a wonderful cook, loud, opinionated, incredibly funny and someone with great insight - Anthony has been wonderful to hang out with. I've learnt a lot from conversations with him, he has always had the time to listen to me - no matter what his schedule might be. He is my inspiration for and accompanied me to get my tattoo. He is very patient with people he cares about and couldn't be bothered with those he isn't friends with. If you are one of those people he cares about, you know he is going to watch out for you and that he will be there for you always. Anthony, I've had a wonderful time knowing you, and I hope we keep in touch. Here's to a lots of idli's and pongal :)

Despite an apartment fellow I know him very little but the few conversations we had show his ability to engage other. I remember his generosity of giving me his Lonely Planet guide for Malaysia and inviting me to a lunch on the the roof of Beauty World Plaza. I wish him success and excellence, as he likes to be a top performer.

By the way, no temas de los mexicanos pues no queremos reconquistar Estados Unidos =)
