Khalid is an intelligent yet down-to-earth gentleman. You are always my "president", brother. We miss your speech :)

Every time Khalid starts his "long-winding" conversations, I always pretend to fall asleep. But the thing I love about Khalid is that he never takes offense. He always laughs every time I tease him, which for some people might be annoying. But not to Khalid. He's such a good-humored person, I actually miss his long speeches.

He might have question my intention and motivation many a times. Especially if I am acting out impulsively. That, bro, is just a slight disorder :). Deep inside, I still do think of you more as a very good friend, instead of a good enemy. And thanks for letting me have my way at that time when we went to Changi airport. You're such a big-hearted person.

I remembered at the very beginning of this program, you told Rainbow and I Pakistanis and Chinese are good friends, and I am glad you made us know about our friends more (by "for example, in Pakistan"). I am grateful to have a friend as inspiring and helpful as you are. Long live the friendship between China and Pakistan , hahaha.........

Kind and supportive. A good friend, that whom can really talk to. As I like to believe the quieter ones have a better perspective on issues, because they take the time to actually listen and Khalid is one of those people. I am really glad that I got to know him a little better during sem 2 and hope we can stay in touch after LKY.

Hey Khalid, my Economics professor! What a pity that this semester you were not here with us so that I could get your academic consultancy and of course ask you more about Pakistan culture. Whenever I asked you a question, you lectured with very very thorough answers, whether it be on the bus or in classroom! I have a very strong belief that you will become a leader in the field that you pursue, my kind and gentle, witty and intelligent Friend! Would say sorry for making the wrong type of "noodle" for you and Azwar the other day :P

Khalid has been like a big brother figure-always calm and serene, forever ready to help out-be it coursework or just a relaxing conversation. He has a very above-it-all perspective on life and all its little upheavals. I've heard him say "In the end it doesn't matter" enough times that now I repeat it myself. Khalid-ji, I hope life brings you all the good things and that you achieve great laurels as you deserve.

Mr Popular! A brainy, mature man who has seen life while the rest of us are still discovering it! He's always there for you and his support is unstinting.

On the very first days at Meadow Lodge I got locked out from my room. Then I knew little about Khalid but I learned of his kindness as he helped me to find a locksmith and get me into the room.

Khalid is one of the most knowledgeable people I came across here. Interestingly, some of the classmates associated him with Wikipedia, but importantly he is selfless and is always willing to share what he knows. And he has this gifted talent of explaining things in a simple way. I learned much from him over the time we spent in Spore. I am glad to have found such a reliable friend.

At once a realist and a romantic, poet and philosopher, a he’s a fascinating conversationalist, always with something thought-provoking and refreshing to say. And, of course, a delightful friend. Best wishes, Boss, for everything ☺

Khalid, Thanks a lot for your time and attentions during my stay in London but most importantly thank you for your friendship and for your invaluable conversations. I still miss your 'never-ending speeches' and your famous phrase: 'or something like that'. Thanks for the cooking...amazing-lah! Now we have a great excuse to cook for you 'delicious Mexican halal food'. You are always welcome to wherever our home is!
